The 2012 Porsche Boxster is one of the latest version of 2012 Porsche. 2012 Porsche Boxster is a 2-door, 2-passenger convertible sports car, available in 4 trims, ranging from the Base to the S Black Edition. The 2012 Porsche Boxster is available at MSRP Price of $48,100 - $65,200 and Invoice Price of $43,110 - $58,500.
Upon introduction, the 2012 Porsche Boxster Base is equipped with a standard 2.9-liter, H6, 255-horsepower engine that achieves 19-mpg in the city and 27-mpg on the highway. The 2012 Porsche Boxster S Black Edition is equipped with a standard 3.4-liter, H6, 320-horsepower engine that achieves 19-mpg in the city and 27-mpg on the highway. 
A 6-speed manual transmission with overdrive is standard on both trims, and a 7-speed manual transmission with overdrive is optional. Development of the next-generation 2012 Porsche Boxster is well underway as the images of the prototype demonstrate. However, a rumor alleging that Porsche insiders are talking about a lightweight, turbocharged four-cylinder platform for the next-gen Boxster recently began making the rounds. The 2012 Porsche Boxster top is embossed with "Black Edition" lettering.
