1931 Alfa Romeo 8 C 2300
Alfa Romeo 8 c was a famous sports car of the 1930s. The name according to the straight-8 cylinder engine. The Vittorio Jano designed 8 C was Alfa's primary sports model from its inception in 1931 until his retirement in 1939.
The first models were the Alfa Romeo 8 C 2300 2.3 litre, a reference to the car (2300 cc) engine. The short wheelbase version this car won the race Targa Florio in Sicily, but it was the victory of the Grand Prix of Italy in Monza, the it its nickname, "Monza was".
The supercharged dual overhead cam straight-8, also by Jano, designed was later to 2.6 L. enlarged in this form the Alfa Romeo 8 c acceleration to 60 mph (97 km/h) in less than 7 seconds and finally reach 135 mph (217 km/h).

The Alfa Romeo 6 c name was used on Road, race and sports car between 1925-1954 by Alfa Romeo. 6 C refers to a straight 6 engine. Make these cars were made by coachbuilders such as James young, Zagato, touring, Castagna, and Pininfarina. From 1933 it was built in Portello body, also a version with a factory Alfa 6 C.
