The Russian Mafia Fender Bender

Okay, so here we have an Escalade erratically driving behind a Maybach. Shortly after, another Escalade joins in the chase until the Maybach has to do an emergency brake, forcing the two Escalades's into each other.

I'm not very good with Russian, so I'm not entirely sure what's happening here and why. Your guess is as good as mine!

Update Ferrari 458 Spider Runs Over Cops Foot

You may remember seeing around the internet recently, a video of a guy driving a 458 Spider, and running over a cops foot, well now, there has been an update to this story.

The driver, is actor Julien Chabbott (no, we don't know who he is either) and he was illegally parked, and as the Police officer was issuing him a ticket, he got into the car and started to drive off, running over the officer's foot. Now, the Police officer, is suing Julien for no less than $10million! Chabbott's lawyer has said that the cop is faking the injury. We shall see how this plays out in the near future!

Reminder of the video here:

Zonda 764 Passione has landed!

A month ago we reported that the 'Final Ever Zonda' was soon to be upon us, in the form of the 764 Passione.

Well it has arrived!

Looks good, don't you think?

It's based on the same design as the Zonda 760 RS and 760 LH (Lewis Hamilton's car) so although the name suggests there might be an extra 4 horsepower, there isn't but regardless it looks like a seriously stunning machine!

Hopefully it's just a case of time until the car is seen out on the open road, firing and cracking away from that V12 we all know and love.

The awkward moment when you reverse into a Ferrari

It doesn't happen regularly, and even less frequently on camera, but the poor chap in the Clio probably wasn't even remotely aware how high the potential cost of this little mistake could be. A new Ferrari California bumper would be required, the whole job potentially as expensive as a whole Clio itself!

The uploader states that the Ferrari had a few cracks as well as paint transferred from the incident.

Wrecked 42 mile old Cayman R

42.7 miles is all it took for this Cayman R to meet destruction. The Cayman R is the stripped out, light weight version of the outgoing Cayman. This particular one seems to have been involved in a rather nasty shunt, enough to write it off.

The car was for sale on Salvagesparefinder.com for $63,176 or £39,166.78. While nothing is known about what happened to it, it seems to have been driven without care, and to be crashed having only driven 42.7 miles, some of which will have been driving from the ship to the transporter, and from the transporter to the dealership, it seems unlikely that the owner was just unlucky.

The website and forum, Luxury4Play, the team also behind the goldRush Rally series, is the work of BC; an individual with one of the most spectacular car collections in the world.

Before this summer he was known for his Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport, Renntech McLaren SLR, likewise tuned Maybach and more. However new to his collection this summer has been a Koenigsegg Agera R as well as this newest addition of a One-of-One Bugatti Veyron Supersport 'Pur Blanc' edition.

The car in question has been caught on video by CarsandCoffeeIrvine and can be seen here:

Truck FULL of cows loses control and overturns

This video, from Russia, shows a truck overturning with a payload of cows spilling out.

The cows seem fine, as they immediatly stand up and walk along like nothings happened.

This is one of those very weird videos, where you're not entirely sure what to think.

I thought, how 'udderly' ridiculous

Excuse the poor pun.

The 24 Minutes of Paris

As part of the Drive channel on YouTube, well known car-man Alex Roy took to a challenge of the '24 Minutes of Paris'.

What exactly did this mean? Quite simply 24 minutes driving in circles around the l'Etoile in Paris, the roundabout around the Arc de Triomphe, regarded by everyone as the craziest junction in the world. The aim, drive as many kilometers as possible, during the day time and without breaking the speed limit.

So how did he fare?

Alex managed 6.2km around the monument, an average speed of 15.5km/h.

In 2 weeks time I will be heading to Paris for the bi-annual motorshow. While there I will attempt this challenge myself to see if I can match up to the master! When it comes to crossing the USA in 32 hours and 7 minutes, I won't quite make it though...

The Gallardo Is Finally Being Replaced!

You may have seen the article about the facelifted Gallardo being released at the Paris Motorshow earlier this year.

At the time Lamborghini didn't state that it would be the last Gallardo. However we now know that a replacement is ready to be revealed and will likely emerge sometime next year.

The last variant of the Gallardo is powered by the same 5.2 litre V10 producing 560HP and 397lb-ft of torque. Power is sent to all four wheels through a 6 speed e-gear transmission.

It includes restyled 19 inch alloy wheels and is available with an optional styling package which includes high-gloss black paint on the front splitter and front grilles. This final facelift of the Gallardo has an altered front with triangular shaped grilles and a new, larger engine vent at the rear.

The successor to the Gallardo will supposedly feature a naturally aspirated engine, but will not be available as a manual. As with the Gallardo it will be only sold as an AWD, however "sometime in the future" a RWD variant may be considered.

Toyota GT86 advert banned in the UK

Many of you will know of the Toyota GT86 and Subaru BRZ, a Rear Wheel Drive, Front engine coupe developed in collaboration between the two manufacturers. You will probably also know that Toyota have been advertising it as a fun car.

You may well have seen the advert at the top of this article on the TV at some point, well you won't be seeing it on the TV anymore. After a number of complaints...

When I say a number of complaints what I really mean is two, yes two complaints and the ASA (Advertising Standards Agency) have decided to ban the full version of the GT86 advert because apparently it "encourages dangerous driving".

It is likely that the complaints come from rival manufacturers however it is also possible that Toyota themselves may have done this to gain publicity.

Now here is a video recorded by Shmee showing what the GT86 can do. Some might say the GT86 is lacking in the power department, what it isn't lacking in however, is the fun department.

The World's Ugliest Mercedes

Quite frankly this is an abomination, I don't know who would design it let alone what makes somebody want to buy it.

The German company, ASMA, took the Mercedes CLS and slapped this stupidly excessive grille on the front that heads all the way down to the floor; some really unimpressive alloys but fortunately haven't completely ruined the rear of the car which still mostly resembles the CLS55 AMG that Mercedes intended.

It's filmed by Patrick3331, keep up with all his videos from Dubai, he sees some great stuff so subscribe here!

Of course that, and the fact it all seems to end up on YouTube!

Here we have a spectacularly stupid incident. Woman A goes to park a car, Woman B jumps out to help guide. Woman A proceeds to run over Woman B, hits 2 other cars, and then drives off.

WRECKED Le Mans Zonda

Caught on camera from the driver's point of view, this video managed to totally escape us when it happened in August. It's the terrible moment the Pagani Zonda GR race car gets a bump from behind and is pushed straight into a concrete wall.

The Zonda GR, a one-off custom £1m race car in its former glory:

The driver watches the bonnet crumpling in front of him:

The sorry state of the car afterwards, an almost certain total loss:

In the video it seems like the driver is not hurt but sadly the car doesn't look like it'll be going anywhere soon, take a watch:

Yet another 458 crash!

It seems like the 458 has trouble staying on the road, with the amount of crashes lately. News has emerged of yet another wreck, this time taking place in Mallorca.

The crash reportedly took place on the 9th, just two hours after the owner and his brother picked the car up from a Ferrari dealer on the island.

Thankfully both the owner and passenger walked away from this rather bad accident on Mallorca's MA-3470 which runs between Alcudia and Murterar. The driver lost control on a straight section of road, hit the guard rail and then smashed into a sandstone cliff face.

When police found the car it had been unattended, most likely due to the owner having gone to get help.

The accident has been blamed on driver error. The car sadly is a total loss and every panel has been damaged. Reports suggest though, that the owner is going to attempt to repair it at his rental car workshop.

Veyron Pegaso Edition spotted in Dubai

My good friend, based out in Dubai, 4WheelsofLux has been fortunate enough to spot the one-off Bugatti Veyron Pegaso Edition.

The car was created a while ago and last believed to have been seen at least 4-5 years ago. It's most special because when it was created in 2007, long before the days of the Bugatti Veyron Super Sport it had some modifications made to make it 1,200hp for presumably some very large cost.

However here it is back on camera at the valet parking area of Dubai Mall:

The most powerful Police car In Australia

We know that the Aussies like their V8s. A number of their current Police cars are powered by V8 engines.

The former title holder of most powerful Police car in Australia was the Holden Special Vehicles V8 used by Queensland Police with 436HP (quite a lot more than the Police cars you see in the United Kingdom).

This is the Ford FPV Falcon GT RSPEC

Now that right there is a proper Police car. This is the most powerful car Ford Australia has ever produced, in standard trim it produces 450HP, which you might think would be enough, however for the New South Wales Highway Patrol it isn't.

Thanks to new injectors and a larger exhaust the Police spec FPV Falcon GT RSPEC produces an earth moving 536HP, it is fitted with all the required equipment for use a Police car and each example costs over $100,000AUD or £65,000.

It is part of a community outreach program and will be used to catch speeding motorists, predominately young motorists. It features all the Radio and Speed Motoring equipment required along with and arguably most importantly the Blues and twos (Lights and Siren).

You might think that with cars such as the above Australian Police would take a relaxed approach to speed limit enforcement as long as you weren't too stupid in your style of driving, however Australian laws are renowned for being rather strict when it comes to enthusiastic driving (Australian readers please correct me if I am wrong).

The word "Hoon" is quite a common site on motoring forums and is used to describe going for a rather enthusiastic drive in order to have fun. In Australia there are laws against "Hooning" in brief the Anti-Hoon legislation is a piece of law which makes driving which may be viewed as anti-social illegal, anyone committing an offence under this legislation is liable to have their vehicle confiscated and their licence revoked.

If I had a choice of what Police car to drive, this would be high on that list.
