The Gallardo Is Finally Being Replaced!
You may have seen the article about the facelifted Gallardo being released at the Paris Motorshow earlier this year.

At the time Lamborghini didn't state that it would be the last Gallardo. However we now know that a replacement is ready to be revealed and will likely emerge sometime next year.

The last variant of the Gallardo is powered by the same 5.2 litre V10 producing 560HP and 397lb-ft of torque. Power is sent to all four wheels through a 6 speed e-gear transmission.

It includes restyled 19 inch alloy wheels and is available with an optional styling package which includes high-gloss black paint on the front splitter and front grilles. This final facelift of the Gallardo has an altered front with triangular shaped grilles and a new, larger engine vent at the rear.

The successor to the Gallardo will supposedly feature a naturally aspirated engine, but will not be available as a manual. As with the Gallardo it will be only sold as an AWD, however "sometime in the future" a RWD variant may be considered.
