The 24 Minutes of Paris

As part of the Drive channel on YouTube, well known car-man Alex Roy took to a challenge of the '24 Minutes of Paris'.

What exactly did this mean? Quite simply 24 minutes driving in circles around the l'Etoile in Paris, the roundabout around the Arc de Triomphe, regarded by everyone as the craziest junction in the world. The aim, drive as many kilometers as possible, during the day time and without breaking the speed limit.

So how did he fare?

Alex managed 6.2km around the monument, an average speed of 15.5km/h.

In 2 weeks time I will be heading to Paris for the bi-annual motorshow. While there I will attempt this challenge myself to see if I can match up to the master! When it comes to crossing the USA in 32 hours and 7 minutes, I won't quite make it though...
