2012 Toyota Yaris 1 4D

In the interior, passengers encounter a pleasant space. The instrument panel emphasizes the width of the vehicle and is kept simple. Unfortunately, Toyota is still not here without material mix and hard plastic.
The backbenchers have the longer wheelbase about three centimeters more knee room. The cargo space is increased to 286 liters, offering relatively generous space for groceries or luggage. After folding down the rear seat in the ratio of 60:40 is not a forward edge slightly increasing load floor. When loading it may not be too generous. 465 kg payload are not just for a five-seater in this class lush.
Toyota has been on the show a lot of technology for security and comfort, but also has a technological icing on the cake, no matter how few extras on offer, such as the navigation and information system "Touch & Go," the in the top three of the five facilities for the price of 550 € is offered. This creates not only the traffic information from TMC pro on the 6.1-inch screen in the center of the dashboard. The navigation works quite well, but unfortunately can be in brightness - even without direct sunlight - read poorly. That could possibly by a small "roof" can be improved for the display. About Bluetooth can easily connect the phone, which allows the driver by means of the steering wheel controls easy phone call. The sound quality is very pleasing.

While driving, the diesel engine revealed as a good engine for the little Japanese. It speeds up fairly easily. At a constant driving at high speed he was still quite elastic.
The Toyota Yaris is a subcompact car that still offers room for four people with luggage for a long tour. His agility is the use against him in the city.

Toyota Prius Hybrid Hit By Brakes Fault

The best selling, Japanese Toyota hybrid car, known as Toyota Prius has received complaints in their brakes mechanism. Analysts project severe revenue downfall due to it.
The new Toyotas gas-electric hybrid car, which was released and became available for sale in Japan and U.S.A in May 2009 has been a best selling model with 4.5 million vehicles already finding their owners.
The U.S. National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has received 180 complaints about the brakes of the Prius new model. The fault involves, remaining of the gas pedal in depressed position.
Two crashes have so far been reported due to this fault resulting in injuries.
Its not the first time as Toyota had received 14 complaints well before in July, last year as claimed by the Japans transport ministry. One of these 14 complaints includes a crash, when a prius at the Japans intersection crashed into another car. This crash also resulted in some injuries as reported by Masaya Ota, a transport ministry official. He further added:
"The Prius driver in the accident told police that a brake did not work," Ota said. "Other Prius drivers also complained brakes were not so sharp." The complaints in Japan involve the new Prius model, and the vehicles were all made in Japan".
The ministry has already ordered an investigation to be held. Toyota spokeswoman Ririko Takeuchi said the company has received reports about the Prius complaints in transparent none repeat scroll North America and in Japan and was now looking into the matter.
As the wise men said "A mistake is not infertile" the Toyota has been hit by some financial implications because of this fault. Its shares drop by 5.7% to 3400 Yen when the stock holders start dumping their shares after this news however 19000 vehicles which have been already imported from Japan to America are not part of the recall. Any serious issue regarding its current fault can result a downfall of an innovative hybrid, eco-friendly car.

Toyota Auris The New Edition Is To Crack The Code Golf
More dynamic, more noble and more extensively equipped and cheaper to maintain the Toyota Toyota Auris 2013Â sets on scratch, to shake up the highly competitive compact class and stand up to the European top dogs VW Golf, Opel Astra and Co.. The prices for the Japanese Golf opponent who comes to the market in January 2013 start, even at 15,950 euros, the economical hybrid version with an average fuel consumption of just 3.8 l/100 km with 22,950 euros even cheaper than the diesel . And this is just the beginning of a major product offensive by Toyota.
New dynamics with optimum space utilization
Toyota Auris 2013Â designed the exterior is brand new. This is particularly evident confident and dynamic appearance of the new generation based on the modified front end. The new Toyota brand face with headlights in the “Keen” look and LED daytime running lights and a trapezoidal lower cooling air intake gives the Toyota Auris 2013Â a determined expression and a powerful presence.
The slim upper grille runs as completion of the flat hood to the full width between the now larger branding and the newly drawn headlamps. A chrome clasp extends into the headlight unit to emphasize the width. The standard in all trim levels and integrated into the bi-xenon or halogen projection headlamps LED daytime running lights give the Toyota Auris 2013Â is independent appearance.
In Page view, it is remarkable how the flat salaried windshield passes smoothly into a flat and aerodynamic roofline. Even in the long-drawn side glass surface that integrates three separate discs, demonstrates the dynamic design direction of the Toyota Auris 2013. The B-pillar kept the Japanese in a glossy piano black finish, is the elegant accents.
With a length of 4.275 meters, the Toyota Auris 2013Â is three inches longer than its predecessor. The wheelbase remained unchanged at 2.600 meters, instead, the front and rear overhangs grew by 1.5 centimeters. Thus, the 1.760 meter wide Toyota Auris 2013Â is still one of the most compact in its class offerings. The sleek look of the Auris has lowered by about 5.5 centimeters to 1.460 meters. In their entirety, these changes cause aerodynamic benefits that contribute to a decrease in consumption on the one hand, the other hand, the Toyota Auris 2013Â but bring a noticeable increase in driving dynamics.
Drive: frugality in symbiosis with fun ….Toyota Auris 2013
When the Toyota Auris 2013Â customers have the choice between an advanced full hybrid drive and two petrol and two diesel engines, which should be distinguished by powerful driving performance with extremely low consumption. Toyota believes that the hybrid models account for about a third of total sales expected.
Toyota Auris 2013Â 1.33 Dual VVT-i (99 HP): The 1.33-liter petrol engine with start-stop system comes up with a power of 99 hp and maximum torque of 128 Nm at 3800 r / min. In combination with a 6-speed manual transmission is the top speed of 175 km / h. The sprint from 0 to 100 is expected to take 12.6 seconds. This compares to an average consumption of just 5.4 liters per 100 kilometers (CO2 emissions: 125 g / km). That is 0.5 liters less than the already frugal predecessor.
Variable valve timing VVT-i helps to improve performance across the entire speed range by the input and exhaust timing continuously adapts to the current driving situation. Dual VVT-i provides an increased torque at low and medium revs, reduce pollutant emissions and fuel consumption.
Toyota Auris 2013Â 1.6 VVT (132 hp): The “Multidrive S automatic” either with a manual six-speed manual or continuously variable transmission available 1.6-liter VVT petrol engine has 132 hp and a maximum torque of 160 Nm at only 4,400 U / min. That’s enough for a top speed of 200 km / h (automatic 190 km / h) and a sprint from 0 to 100 kph in 10.0 seconds (automatic 11.1 seconds).

Toyota Hilux 2012

- Toyota Hilux, 2012
First released in Japan in 1967, and one year later throughout Europe, the legendary Toyota Hilux has been a dominant presence in the global pick-up market for almost 45 years.
To date, the worlds favourite pick-up has recorded cumulative global sales of over 13 million units. Last year, global sales reached 549,000 units, an increase of 25% over the previous year. In Europe, 21,866 Hilux vehicles were sold in 2010, representing close to 25% of the segment and making the Toyota pick-up the leader for the third consecutive year.
The new pick-up available in 36 European countries, and more than 135 throughout the world. With anticipated European sales of almost 26,000 units in 2011, the Toyota Hilux success story is set to continue.
Refined Interior Quality and more Sophisticated Exterior Design
The 2012 Hilux features extensive revisions to both its interior and exterior design. The interior changes include improved sensory quality throughout the cabin, and passenger car levels of convenience.
A new, horizontal centre instrument cluster design reinforces the breadth and roominess of the cabin. The centre cluster is clearly divided into two sections. The upper part incorporates Toyota Touch, a 6.1" touch screen multimedia unit. The lower part houses new designs for both manual and automatic air-conditioning controls.
The drivers instrument cluster has been redesigned to enhance meter clarity, and SR and SR+ grades are now equipped with Optitron meters. A new, more modern steering wheel design incorporates grade-differentiated switchgear.
Perceived quality has been significantly improved through the adoption of uniformly darker finishes with a greater colour consistency throughout the interior. This sense of increased sophistication is further enhanced through new, silver ornamentation to the display audio unit, steering wheel and gearshift knob. A choice of four seat upholstery finishes, including leather, offers improved durability and stronger grade differentiation.
The new exterior design gives the 2012 Toyota Hilux a distinctive, instantly recognisable presence, whilst maintaining the legendary toughness essential for professional work.
The front of the vehicle is entirely new from the A pillar forwards. It combines an image of rugged durability appropriate to a workhorse with a more curved, three-dimensional image reflecting the vehicles SUV-like appeal to the growing leisure segment of the European pick-up market.
The flowing lines of a new bonnet design extend into a new, more sophisticated, reverse trapezoid-shaped radiator grille. The grille is flanked by powerful headlamp clusters which project beyond the bodywork extremities to enhance turn signal visibility. A new front bumper design incorporates a large air intake flanked by integrated fog lamp housing.
In profile, the 2012 Toyota Hiluxs clean, robust bodywork is enhanced by a new front and rear wing design which incorporates a strong, rearward-flowing character line adding a powerful sense of movement. The vehicle profile is further enhanced by new, robust 15" and sporting 17" steel and alloy wheel designs, and new door mirrors featuring integrated turn signals on SR and SR+ grade models.
To the rear, new combination lamp clusters and a new high level stop lamp match the projecting design of the headlamps to maximise visibility. And workhorse DLX grade models mark the reintroduction of a tough, durable flat bumper design.
The 2012 Toyota Hilux will be available in a range of 8 exterior body colours, of which two, Dark Steel and Silky Gold, are new.
New Grade Structure
In order to create a stronger differentiation between workhorse, dual usage and leisure versions, the 2012 Hilux is now available in four grades: DLX, the new DLX+, SR and SR+
Fulfilling a workhorse/dual usage role, the brand new DLX+ grade is available with 2WD or 4WD 2.5 D-4D powertrains mated to a manual transmission in all three body styles and with a 4WD 3.0 D-4D powertrain and manual transmission as a Double Cab only.
DLX models are equipped with an Anti-lock Brake System (ABS), a rear differential lock, electric windows, remote door locking and electric, heated door mirrors.
The optional Styling pack for DLX+ Double Cab adds a body-coloured front bumper and wheel arch protectors, wider tyres and front fog lamps.
With a choice of three body types, two engines, manual and automatic transmission and two- or four-wheel drive, Europes pick-up of choice now satisfies the requirements of an even wider professional and leisure customer base.
Upgraded 2Wd 2.5 D-4D, 2012 Toyota Hilux Engine Range Now Euro V Compliant
Through the introduction of variable nozzle turbocharging, 2012 Hilux 2WD, 2.5 D-4D models now benefit from a 24 hp increase in power. The improved 2494 cc, 16 valve, DOHC four-cylinder common-rail unit now develops 144 hp at 3,600 rpm and 343 Nm of torque at 2,000 rpm, matching the output of 2.5 litre four-wheel drive variants.
This power increase has been achieved through the adoption of a DC motor-actuated, variable nozzle vane-type turbocharger and the use of new injectors. The new injectors offer more precise fuel injection, improving throttle response and performance.
Durable, reliable and quiet, the 2.5 D-4D engine further benefits from several performance and efficiency enhancing measures. A high-performance turbo-intercooler not only increases power but also enhances emissions performance. A sophisticated Swirl Control System optimises the air-fuel mixture at low engine speeds, increasing torque availability without the need for acceleration. And an Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) cooler optimises EGR gas temperature to improve emissions performance.
As a result of the 24 hp power increase, the 2012 Toyota Hilux 2.5 D-4D 2WD accelerates from 0-100 km/h in 14.1 seconds, and has a top speed of 170 km/h.
Despite these significant performance increases, combined cycle fuel consumption has been reduced by 1.0 l/100 km to 7.3 l/100 km and CO2 emissions lowered by 26 g/km to only 193 g/km.
Complimenting this power increase, 2012 Toyota Hilux 2WD versions are now equipped with the more robust chassis design of 4WD models. This not only improves vehicle ground clearance, but also increases the two-wheel drive models towing capacity to 2.5 tons.
The 3.0 D-4D engine develops 171 hp and when mated to a 5-speed manual transmission, will accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 12.1 seconds, and has a top speed of 170 km/h. It returns an average fuel consumption of 8.6 l/100 km, and generates CO2 emissions of 227 g/km.
Equipped with an optional, 5-speed automatic gearbox, acceleration from 0-100 km/h improves to 12 seconds, and top speed rises to 175 km/h. Average fuel consumption is 8.4 l/100 km, with CO2 emissions of 223 g/km.
Both powertrains benefit from high torque output across a wide engine speed range -the 2.5 D-4D generating 343 Nm between 1,600 and 2,800 rpm, manual versions of the 3.0 litre engine matching this figure between an even wider, 1,400-3,400 rpm band- offering optimum performance at any speed, across any terrain.

Toyota GT86 advert banned in the UK
You may well have seen the advert at the top of this article on the TV at some point, well you won't be seeing it on the TV anymore. After a number of complaints...
When I say a number of complaints what I really mean is two, yes two complaints and the ASA (Advertising Standards Agency) have decided to ban the full version of the GT86 advert because apparently it "encourages dangerous driving".
It is likely that the complaints come from rival manufacturers however it is also possible that Toyota themselves may have done this to gain publicity.
Now here is a video recorded by Shmee showing what the GT86 can do. Some might say the GT86 is lacking in the power department, what it isn't lacking in however, is the fun department.
