1951 Alfa Romeo 1900
The Alfa Romeo 1900 was a sports sedan by Orazio Satta developed for the company Alfa Romeo in 1950. It was Alfa Romeo's first built completely on a line.
Door was offered in two of the 1900 or four door models, with a 1,884 cc, 90 HP, 4-cylinder engine. It was spacious and simple, but fast and sporty. The slogan Alfa used when it "the family wins the race car", not was-so subtle reference to the car success in the Targa Florio, Stella Alpina and other competitions. Production continued until 1959 21,304 were built in total.
The housing has been designed for coachbuilders, rebody, of which the most notable was designed the Zagato, 1900 Super Sprint Coupe, with an improved engine and enable custom body design developed.
