Thailand Target as Automotive Production Base No 1 in ASEAN

It seems Thailand began to fidget with attacks from Indonesia who are currently racing one another for himself as State mengukukuhkan automotive production base in ASEAN. There are reports that the Thai government has been instructed to inject funds amounting 3:42 Bath billion or about 113 Million U.S. Dollars to promote and support these within a period of 3 years in the future. The proposed value itself has been approved by the Thai government cabinet members earlier this week.

This expenditure alone is more focused on the development of labor skills. White elephant country has produced more than 1.6 million vehicles last year, and by 2014 production would be expected to exceed more than 3 million vehicles.

This is a major constraint is the availability of competent human resources are not sufficient, and is unable to meet the increasing demand every year. A total of 2:17 Bath billion will be spent for programs of skills training and the rest will be used to build facilities to test vehicles and the ability of vehicles that are expected to increase the competitiveness of the automotive industry in the country.
