Honda fit EV concept 2012
Honda has on the new EV concept fit electric vehicle introduced the Los Angeles Auto Show 2010. In addition to the plug-in hybrid vehicle is the integral fit EV concept to Honda electric mobility network as advanced ecological approach to reduce CO2 emissions.
Powered by a high density engine, derived from the FCX Clarity fuel cell electric vehicle, which offers fit EV excellent efficiency with a top speed of 90 mph.
The fit-EV is an estimated 100 miles driving range per charge with the US EPA LA4 * City (70 miles in the application of the EPA correction factor) reach. Driving range can by using an innovative 3 mode electric drive system adapted from the 2011 Honda CR-Z sport hybrid be maximized.
Charging the battery can be done in less than 12 hours when using a conventional 120-volt power outlet, and less than six hours, when to use a 240-volt outlet. If the fit EV-production model is introduced, is it coaxial and a lithium ion battery powered electric motor.
